* The Old Indian Princess Myth goes on.
I myself have a myth that I was told all of my life. I was
told by my birth mother that my grandfather was Cherokee and that I was 1/4
Cherokee and named after a Cherokee Indian Princess named Gloria.
But my Dad had told me that was a bunch of bunk and that her family was a bunch
of no good Gypsies. So go figure also to this day I have NEVER been able to find
any of her Harris family other than what she had told me about or was in my
Bible which is very little. She also had told me that I was a 7 mo. baby but the
truth is that they had to get married.
They divorced when I was 5 after she stabbed and almost killed my Dad in front
of me and I can still see it happen.
I still try to keep up on the Indian thing though just on the chance the blood
part of it may be true. But! after finding out through the DNA test of the
Benoni Teter Powers Line that our BLOOD LINE isn't Powers but is McWhorter I
wouldn't be surprised at anything now. God only know who I really am, at this
point I sure don't.
